Rob came up through the trades starting at the bottom and moving up progressively over a 20+ year career as an apprentice carpenter, carpenter, foreman, subcontractor, superintendent, project manager, estimator, and Director of Business Development until eventually opening Remington. In addition, Rob has worked as an architect, but is a terrible artist and typical engineer, so went back to the construction and development side. Rob has experienced success as a subcontractor, a general contractor and a developer, so understands how to implement success at every level from acquiring the site or space all the way through selling it at stabilization or simply handing you the keys so you can start making money with your commercial project. Rob has degrees and certifications from State University at Sacramento, MIT and University of Arizona in construction Management, business, development and development finance. Rob is also a certified “Design Builder” by the DBIA (Design Build Institute of America)
Remington believes that the only way to do anything is the right way. The steps to get from where we start to where we end up may have different details in every project, but the path remains the same. Rob believes that to cut corners at any level risks problems that tend to snowball exponentially as the project develops. This has been learned over decades of executing development and construction at every level. Remington believes in the never ending pursuit of perfection in everything we do. These are not simply words, but what we stand for and how we wish to be measured by others. We are passionate about our life which includes our personal life, our relationships and our business and believe in developing lifelong relationships with the people we intereact with—investors, lenders, clients, coworkers, design professionals and trade partners.
To many, this is just a word. To Remington, this is who we are, this is what we stand for, and this is how we wish for others to measure us.
